What this page is
Everyone shows today's max-pain number; this page shows how it MIGRATES through the day (every 3 minutes) against spot — writers re-anchoring in real time.
How to use it
- 1Set symbol + expiry, choose a recorded day. The step-line is max pain, the smooth line is spot.
- 2Read the day drift (where pain started vs where it is now) and the spot-vs-pain gap zone chips.
How to read it
- Spot far ABOVE pain → expiry-week gravity pulls down; spot far BELOW pain → pull up. Near pain = pinned.
- Pain stepping UP through the day = call writers rolling higher (they accept a higher settle); stepping DOWN = put writers giving ground.
- Most useful on expiry day and the day before; early in the week the number is noisy.
💡 Pro tip:A pain level that has NOT moved for two hours while spot swings around it is a strong pin candidate for the last hour.
