What this page is
Every listed NSE stock — large, mid, small and micro — scored overnight by the SAME engine that powers the Fundamental Analyzer, then bucketed: highly undervalued, overvalued, expensive-but-worth-it, quality, debt, and who is buying (FII / DII / promoter).
How to use it
- 1Pick a bucket chip first — that is the question you are asking. HIGHLY UNDERVALUED is the default and is split into HIGH CONVICTION and TRAP WATCH.
- 2Narrow with the filters: size (large / mid / small / micro), sector, minimum market cap, EQ-series-only, or a symbol search. Counts on every chip update with the filters.
- 3Click any row to open its vote lines — the exact reasons the engine called it cheap or dear — then OPEN FULL ANALYSIS for the whole valuation desk on that stock.
- 4Any column header sorts. The bucket picks a sensible default sort (debt lists sort by D/E, bargain lists by UV score), and your click overrides it.
How to read it
- UV score 0-100 has two halves: how many of the five valuation lenses agree it is cheap, AND how big the gap to fair value is. Both are needed — five lenses agreeing on a 4% discount is not an opportunity.
- HIGH CONVICTION vs TRAP WATCH is the whole point: both are equally cheap, but trap watch fails a quality gate (F-Score, Altman Z, cash conversion or the value-trap flag). Most cheap stocks are cheap for a reason.
- "DII / MF building" means DII holding rose for three or more straight quarters. Screener publishes DIIs as ONE block — mutual funds, insurers and banks together — so it is an honest proxy, not a mutual-fund-only number.
- A "check the filing" chip means the methods disagree so wildly (fair value several times the price) that the inputs are almost certainly broken. Those are kept out of the bargain ranking.
- Prices and shareholding are as of the overnight build; shareholding itself is a quarterly filing that reaches Screener about 45 days after quarter end. This is a filter, never a recommendation.
💡 Pro tip:Run the bargain list with a minimum market cap of Rs 500 cr and EQ-series-only before anything else. Most of what a raw cheapness screen throws up is illiquid, trade-to-trade or simply a broken filing — the filters are doing more work than the ranking.
